I knew theory, but couldn't play the piano.
I took 5-6 years of formal piano as a kid, over the past 3 years I have picked it back up with my kids as they have started lessons. I know a lot of theory and can play basic songs but I wanted to be able to sing along. Taking these lessons with Bethany allowed me almost instantly to play the songs I had been trying to learn one measure at a time. I have been able to apply what I already know to really be able to play the songs I have always wanted to play and sing to.

After one day, I could play a complete song!
I took 3-4 years of piano lessons. I learned the basic note reading and a few basic songs that were very simple, but not enough to allow me to play on my own or learn anything more. Bethany’s class has allowed after, only one week to learn and play so much more. After one day, I could play one hand all the way through Amazing Grace. It was a little choppy, but more than I had learned in 3 years. I am excited to be able to play worship music with my two daughters who also have picked up several songs after one day of learning.

The pace of this class is just right!
This has been a great experience! I honestly have no bad things to say! I love that the course is self-paced. Each week I feel challenged to learn the new tools given, but not so challenged that I want to give up. This has been great! I’ve went from playing zero piano, to playing a full song in less than three days.. that’s AMAZING!
